That's a Wrap!

1. We've had a lot of experience, Captain. We bodyguarded the last two troubleshooters right up to the very minute they was killed. Union Pacific, 1939, starring Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McCrea, and Robert Preston, dir. Cecil B. DeMille.

2. I don't use a pen. I write with a goose quill dipped in venom. Laura, 1944, starring Dana Andrews, Gene Tierney, and Clifton Webb, dir. Otto Preminger

9. Why must men doubt? Tell them they must keep faith! They must keep faith! The Robe, 1953, starring Richard Burton, Jean Simmons, Victor Mature, and Michael Rennie, dir. Henry Koster.

10.I'm not helpless. I'm not helpless. I am helpless. I'm gonna die. Scooby Doo, 2002, starring Sarah Michelle Geller, Freddie Prinz, and Rowan Atkinson, dir. Raja Gosnell.

Told ya I had weird tastes.

Movies that almost made the cut: The Day the Earth Stood Still, It Happened One Night, High Fidelity, Music and Lyrics, Silverado, and The Secret of NIMH.

I so should have gotten the Scooby doo quote. I knew I knew it, I just couldn't think of a movie that had it, that I thought you would watch. :) Too much over-thinking. :)

Ro and I went together to see it in the theatre--she thought we were going for her, and I'd be bored.

She still shakes her head and says "I have never heard you have so much fun at a movie before or since."

True story.

All I could think of for #10 with the dog clue was Tim Roth panicking with "I'm gonna die." How so very far off the mark.

I almost chose High Fidelty for my quotes as well.
