Oh crap--another project

Spring Knitty is up and I am doomed. Doomed I tell you.

All because of this.

Sigh.

And on an entirely different note, this is a good idea why?

THE EXACT SAME PROJECT CAUGHT MY EYE! I've been looking for a tasteful lace cardigan for AGES for this angora yarn I bought. This is EXACTLY what I had in mind.

Well, that is clearly because we are both women of discriminating taste and high style!

Sounds like you're feeling better? Weekend shows go okay?

Three! Three women of discriminating taste and high style! :-)

This pattern is being pointed at by nearly every fiber freak I know. I think it's the easy sizing adaptation and it looking nice on widely variant body types.

I also fell in love with the beaded shawl on the cover, but that's a project for another lifetime.

Oh crap, make that four!

Too much yarn, too many patterns, NOT ENOUGH TIME TO KNIT!

::le sigh::

This is a good argument for funding more research into the 27 hour day...

I've been able to sing all my shows after cancelling Tuesday's and Wednesday's; Thursday's exhausted me; Friday and Saturday I felt much more healthy. Now I'm feeling completely like my old self again, except for a runny nose and a phlegmy cough that developed on Wednesday and WILL NOT GO AWAY. I wish I could just scoop out all the damn phlegm and have done with it.

Unfortunately it looks like I don't have enough yarn for that sweater as written. I'm considering making the cuffs narrower. If only I knew how to flip over lace, I could knit the sleeves top down and stop whe I ran out of yarn.

I have to make the baby hood thingie for my now-pregnant niece, mostly because the baby wearing it looks MISERABLE in it! And we live to torture the babies. ;-)

The comment I made to the husband was that the second picture says one thing, "What in the HELL do you have on my head?"

Just remember folks, it's not a question of if you're going to screw them up, it's a question of how you're going to screw them up.

*looks all helpful and stuff* Would you like me to spin the yarn for it? :)

I fell in love with the sweater as well.
I though the PI Shawl was brilliant!
Need to finish mine when I have brain power and focus.
I am too far into this for ripping out to be a possibility.

Was that 6 or 7 women of fabulous good taste? It is *awfully* pretty, and I don't knit that well. Problem is, I also WANT a 1620s embroidered jacket...

Researching now... Must stitch!

Oh,did you want a copy of the "Twixt Art & Nature" catalog?
