This could be bad...

This could be bad in that interesting, can't-take-my-eyes-off-the-train-wreck, sort of way.

On the other hand, maybe it will erase forever the horrible memory of the Ted Danson version?

Is it sad that I guessed "Gulliver's Travels" before I clicked the link?

I dunno if I can take that much Jack Black. I hated School of Rock and I didn't think much of Kung Fu Panda, either, though I at least finished it, unlike School of Rock.

(I'm skeptical about "contemporary" versions, too. Are they saying they have no faith he can do a period piece? I have no faith he can, but is this a case of the choice of star dictating the limitations of the project? Hm.)
