Brooklyn, about 5 blocks from Kingsborough Community College. I knew with the schedule we had there'd be no way to see anyone. We drove 2 blocks from the house of the sister of one of my colleagues (he was driving) and he just sort of waved in the direction of her house (in Tribeca) and said, "Hi, Sis!" because there was no way he'd be able to see her, either.

*Sigh* And it was even nice traipsing around the City temperatures, had we had the chance. Oh well--at least we were in a pretty part of Brooklyn.

Oh, yeah, it's such a fun tool, isn't it?

And there are so many cool (and free!) apps for it, too.

not sure what you see on your phone and what you check. just wanted to let you know that i got the job. Pennsic for the couple days I was planning is a possibility if I can afford it with the pay cut. Will know more in a couple days. and yes i know going to pennsic is not important but I would really like to make the memorial if it is possible without hurting myself.

I didn't dare use battery to read my friends list this AM, but was reading it as Ro drove me home. There were swan-honks of joy in the car!

If you can't make the memorial, the Memorial Tournament will be at Summer's End in September in Buffalo. That will be the last public memorial--so that's an option that may be more feasible for you?
