I understand hope, but jeesh. How wonderful it would have been if it had been done in 3 years and based on a record of achievement. Of course there is a risk there won't be a record of achievement (oops, sorry - maybe I am not allowed to say that).

It's also a shot at President Bush.

My president is a Nobel Peace Prize winner.

That is very cool.

Oh, today is the day they meet to decide whether to send tens of thousands of troops into Afghanistan.

He gave Europe the hope Bush could not, Carter got one and so did Gore, of course it would be nice if they waited for him to get something substantial done.
