Recipie ganked from fiannaharpar

8 oz angel hair pasta (I used whole wheat penne)
2.5 cups asparagus cut into 1-inch pieces

-Cook pasta in boiling water 4 minutes (9 minutes for me).
-Add asparagus and cook 2 minutes longer or until tender.

1 T butter
1/2c green onions (I used leeks), chopped
1.5 t lemon peel (I used the peel of 1 lemon)
3 T lemon juice (I used the juice of 1 lemon)

-While pasta cooks, melt butter in large frying pan (I used my wok) over medium heat.
-Add green onions (leeks) and lemon peel and saute 1 minute.
-Add lemon juice and cook until liquid is almost evaporated.

3/4 cup milk (I used 2%)
2 eggs

-Beat together
-Add with pasta and asparaus to pan with green onions (leeks).
-Cook over low heat until milk mixture is slightly thick, about 4 minutes
-Do not boil.

1 T fresh dill (didn't have any, didn't use it, missed it)
1/3 t salt (I didn't add this because I salt my pasta water)
1/8 t ground nutmeg

-Stir in
-Serve immediately

Serves 4-6

We also added some freshly ground pepper and it was yummy.
