Le sigh

The bundle is out of my room, carefully packed, to be delivered by The Duchezz to She Who Is In Charge this weekend. God, what a mess--and no one has a clue how glad I am to see it move off my plate. The Weasel had an excellent suggestion about a long-term solution to the problem that articulated not just what could be done, but the honor and thinking behind the proposed solution. What I find appalling is the rarity in the general universe to that sort of thoughtful response, and find myself saying thank you again to God for introducing the Sister and the Submariner.

On other notes, the alter ego (best personified by the motorcycle chick in Rose is Rose) is hammering at my head to follow the lead of The Angry One and develop a casualty list of Those Who Should Just F*** O** and Die. For good or ill, the blue tights win again, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to raise a toast to conviction.

Men in crutches should neither get down on their knees to clean nor climb stairs. Dope.

Long weekend ahead, wishing I was at Pax, wishing boy was whole, wishing Brownies would take care of everything [and bring their friends the singing mice, dexterous birds, elven shoemakers, et al.], and generally hiding in a book whenever time permits.

I'm thankful for my friends--today in particular for Huntresses who send packages via forest gods.

And for peace_icons

Lindt 85% Cocoa Swiss Chocolate does fix everything. What it doesn't fix, the 99% stuff will eradicate with a sweep of its bitter essence. :)

*has the odd sensation of someone placing a piece of fabric around her shoulders and makes big eyes and careful smile*

I love you unconditionally. Also, I think you're a really cool person and like you for your own merits.

I trust you'll explain this when the time is right, and I'm patient, content, and cocky enough to feel pleased with myself.

hope that whatever is not perking along at a proper rate of speed and 'niceness' starts to behave.

Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

I wish he'd had the surgey another month..I'd come up for a weekend and distract him for you.

I wish I was at Pax, too. an odd feelign because I haven't cared in a long time. But you know how I get nostalgic about anniversary events.

I want a house elf. Life in my house wouldn't be too strenuous.

You've had a FO&D list for at LEAST (hmm 34 -19) 15 years that I can remember. It lives in your head at the top of the list of people we can't trust, people we can trust conditionally, etc. May you should just update it on paper, draw big red lines through names, and burn it. Cathartic, y'know.

Hugs.

You know. Usually I hate cryptic. But your cryptic always makes me extremely glad I don't know any more. Though your first few ilnes did make me picture you wrapping an infant in swaddling and the Duchezz sneaking it off in the night to hide it until it grow to meet its destiny.

Did i make you smile?

Do eat chocolate. If he gets down on his knees one more time while on crutches, dial my number and I'll threaten him appropriately. ;-)
